An avid sportsman, poker player and cribbage player. Last year he was placed into the Guiness Book of World Records for 75yrs of continual curling on an organized team.

He is survived by four children, 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren

It is with deep regret that we inform you all of the passing of Comrade Gary Hale, President of the Kinross VC Branch #180, Lougheed and Past Zone Commander last night. (July 26).

The funeral of Gary Hale will take place at the Lougheed Community Hall on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.

We are sorry to advise that Comrade George Brown passed away. His funeral is Wednesday at 12:00 noon at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch in Slave Lake.
